Navajo County is a county in the northern part of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2020 census, its population was 106,717. The county seat is Holbrook. Nearly 66% of Navajo County is Indian reservation land. Many people think of Arizona as a vast, open desert without vegetation, but Apache and Navajo counties encompass the world’s largest Ponderosa pine forest.
